Electrical Contracts Manager - Maidstone (Ref: UKCM)
Electrical Contracts Manager required to join our electrical engineering group serving commerical & domestic customers in Kent & SE UK, based from Maidstone, Kent. This opportunity will suit an individual with an electrical background and competence in contracts and business processes. The main focus of the role is to manage the delivery of electrical services to budget expectations or better, with a high level of customer satisfaction. You should enjoy following projects through from inception to completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of Bids, RFQ, and other quotation documentation for electrical installation, maintenance, testing works
- Execution of contracts with management
- Management of client relationships
- Project management for larger SE UK contracts as needed
- Procurement control for electrical materials
- Management of subcontractors
- Completing NICEIC paperwork and qualifying certification will be an advantage
- Attention to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety requirements
Specific Skills/Qualifications include:
- Commercial background and/or qualification in commercial law/contracts helpful
- Relevant Engineering Qualification or Diploma in electrical related subject
- 17th Edition of Wiring Regulations helpful
- NICEIC Qualified Supervisor credentials helpful
- Working knowledge of NICEIC Certification Processing and Standards
- Ability to work deadlines and problem solving capabilities
- Project management skills essential including managaing Staff work plans/rotas
- Strong IT skills especially MS Excel.
- Fluent in English language, spoken and written
- British national, UK work permit or work visa
- Valid UK Drivers Licence
- Ability to work safely on ladders, lift tools & equipment as needed
Full time position but Part-time may be considered. Salary commensurate with experience.
